Stéphane Rousseau, Ph.D

Stephane Rousseau is a full professor in the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal, as well as an affiliated professor in the Department of Finance of HEC Montréal. He is the co-pedagogical director of the Ethics and Compliance Certification program for the Executive Education program at HEC Montreal. Holder of a doctorate in law from the University of Toronto, he is the President of the Observatory of Quebec Securities law.

An internationally recognized expert, Stéphane teaches and pursues research in corporate law, corporate governance and financial market law. In addition to his academic activities, he is an academic affiliated with a national law firm. He also chairs the independent review committee of an investment fund family and sits as an independent member on the retirement committee of a Quebec university.
